On Friday 6th November ten students from class 7 Opal had the opportunity to tour Valletta with the intent of looking at some of its artistic treasures.
The highlights of the visit were:
- the boat trip from Vittoriosa to Valletta;
- the Antoine Camilleri exhibition on the tenth anniversary of his death at the St. James Cavalier;
- the works by Caravaggio at St. John Co-Cathedral;
- the 1565 Great Siege of Malta exhibition at the Palace State Rooms of the Grand Master’s Palace.
The tour was not the end of the activity for these ten students, as they had to prepare some brochures (found at the bottom of this page) to share what they learned with the rest of the school. This was done on their return to school.
